Corp owned and managed by the Cabusas family and HDL Construction and Dev’t Corp. owned by the Lopez family of Bacolod. For many generations, the Lopez family has had many stakes in different businesses in Bacolod. From sugar cane plantation with its vast properties, the Lopez’s diversified into real estate development, hence Carmella Valley was born. From its mother company and with the rise of housing demands Mr. Hernan Lopez founded another company that is solely into the construction and development of real estate properties into a well planned living communities, hence HDL Construction and Dev’t. Corp. was born. It is now currently the biggest and most awarded real estate developer in region VI with over 50 completed subdivisions to date. In Bacolod, its head office Carmella Valley can be found along 1st and 2nd Lacson St. and in Rain Tree Mall in F. Ramos street in Cebu City.

On the other hand, the Cabusas family has long been in the financing business, but with the ever changing economic climate the family diversified into real estate business; apartments, property leasing and small scale subdivision development and construction.
